Tring Shotokan Karate Club

Tring Shotokan Club is now part of Shotokan Karate England!

SKE Tring has recently celebrated it's 15th Anniversary with club owner Sensei Rosemary New, 5th Dan. Rosemary has over 30 years experience in Shotokan karate and is one of Sensei Enoeda's original Marshall Street students!

You will be assured of a warm welcome to the club by Rosemary and her team of fully qualified Black Belt Instructors who will ensure that you enjoy your karate training and also get the best from yourself.

SKE has clubs in the Chingford, Enfield, Walthamstow, Larkswood, Whitechapel, Leyton and Wanstead areas. These Shotokan Karate Clubs have established a standard for Karate in London and the South of England that is unparalleled. Many adults and Juniors who have started as beginners in the clubs, have gone on to reach Black Belt level and achieve National and International success.

Sensei Enoeda

Sensei Rod Butler the clubs' Chief Instructor, has 30 years of experience in Shotokan Karate. He was a long time member of the KUGB and the JKA and achieved his 4th Dan KUGB JKA under Sensei Enoeda in May 1999 at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London. The late Sensei Enoeda was the highly respected Chief Instructor of the KUGB as well as the Chief Instructor of JKA Europe.

Karate Classes

Throughout each week there are classes especially targeted towards beginners, intermediate, and advanced Black and Brown Belt students and instructors. You can choose which classes are suitable for you. Naturally, if you are keen and wish to start straightaway, you can. You need no special clothing to start, just something loose fitting and comfortable.
